International Organization of Journalists (1946-1995)

The rigorous thesis: "International Organization of Journalists (1946-1995)" deals with the history, development, aims and activities of the International Organization of Journalists (hereinafter IOJ) in the period from 1946 to 1995, thus since its creation in the year 1946 to the year 1995, when the last Congress IOJ in Jordanian Amman was held. The introductory part of the text is focused on a brief resumption of three most important international journalists' organizations, which were established before the year 1946 - the International Congress of Journalists, the International Federation of Journalists and the International Federation of Journalists from Allied and Free Countries. In the second chapter are first summarized history of IOJ and described main phases of IOJ's development - these are periodizated according to IOJ's Congresses. An integral part of the description and periodization is quotation of main international and Czechoslovak political circumstances, which had a real impact on the organization. The next text is followed by IOJ's objectives, aims, activities and structure. Finally, the IOJ's main persons and the curriculum vitae of the five leaders are mentioned. The Process of Admitting Vietnam to the ASEAN

1 Abstract In this bachelor thesis, the topic of Vietnam's admission to ASEAN in 1995 is explored. The decision to accept Vietnam into the organization was peculiar given Vietnam's history and the reasons for the organization's creation. The essay aims to answer the question of why the ASEAN members decided to admit Vietnam. Possible reasons for the decision include mutual economic benefit, common security risks, and social or cultural issues. The thesis uses selected theories in international relations to analyze the topic through a chronological-descriptive analysis of various sources, including book sources, articles in periodicals, legislative documents of the organization, and internet sources. The introductory part of the thesis discusses the origin, reasons for formation, and organizational structure of ASEAN. Additionally, three selected theories of international relations are briefly described to examine the possible reasons for and against the admission of Vietnam into the organization. This master thesis aims to show what influence language and communication decisions have on external communication in internationally operating organizations. The research was done on the example of sequa gGmbH in Bonn, a non-profit development organization. Through interviews and observation protocols, the impressions and experiences of employees of sequa were collected.
Selected aspects of employee development in international organization

In this thesis the attention is given to selected aspects of employee development in the international organization operating in the steel industry, which has a branch in Slovakia. The theoretical part explains the various theoretical concepts that bind to this topic (for example. Human resources, human resources management, competencies), as well as individual learning concepts which are creating a platform for employee development and also the different phases development and training in organization. This topic is very up-to-date in the light of increasing demand for staff across the whole spectrum of professions. The empirical part is directed to clarify the course of development in international organizations, where great importance emphasis is placed on language learning (especially English) and training in the field of management training, particularly to develop the presentation skills. In this part of the research results indicate that individual groups of employees are after completing the course improving the level of English language at the required level, as well as valuation of the self level of presentation skills. Education of employees in the multicultural organization

Résumé This thesis focuses on the education of employees in international corporations. Its aim is to introduce this problem in a broader context, especially that of international business. Firstly, in this work an international corporation is understood as an organisation, firm or company in which individuals of many different cultural backgrounds meet and interact. Therefore, the thesis also occupies itself with subcategorie of cultural theories, the characterization of an international corporation as such and, moreover, international personal management with an emphasis on managing expatriates. However, the most attention is paid to certain educational specifics of international corporations. The processes of adaptation and reintegration are described in detail as are the problems of intercultural learning and intercultural training. To conclude, this thesis attempts to summarize theoretical bases and to bring forth new ideas on the basis of study available Czech and foreign literature in the context of the given issue.
Role of selected regional IGO in Russian foreign policy towards Central Asia countries.

Bacalor thesis bearing a name "Role of selected regional international organizations in foreign policy of Russian federation towards states of Central Asia" explores position of Russian federation in post-Soviet area, namely in Central Asia. Thesis focuses on Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) and Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), three selected international organizations founded during Vladimir Putin's first presidential term. Shanghai Cooperation Organisation institucionalized chinese interest in the region. American deployment in Afghanistan was an impuls which brought Central Asia to USA's attention. There are also other actors interested in collaboration with states of Central Asia. This bacalor thesis is comparation analyzing impact of SCO, EurAsEC and CSTO on position of Russia in Central Asia. Thesis evaluates their paralel existence since their foundation till termination of EurAsEC in 2014. Comparative analysis is followed by evaluation of Russian position and aspects which limit its influence.

Eurasian Economic Union: Development, Problems and Perspective

Title: Eurasian Economic Union: Development, Problems and Perspectives. The topic of the thesis is the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) - a regional international law organization, established in 2015, which was granted with an international legal identity. The organization aim is not only to re-establish closer relations between the former Soviet Union states but also potentially to create a unified transnational cooperation in the Eurasian dimension. The EEU is very young organization, and still far from being a perfect one, that however deserves significant attention of the legal research. The aim of this research is to analyze the EEU system from the public international law perspective. Given the age of the EEU, the thesis is among the first in the Czech language environment dedicated to this organization. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first deals with the historical background that preceded the establishment of the EEU. The second part deals with the architecture of the EEU system, and is further divided into two subjects: the first deals with the analysis of the legal system of the EEU; the second focuses on the analysis of the functioning of the EEU bodies. The Influence of International Organizations on Anglo-Spanish Dispute over Gibraltar

This bachelor thesis examines the influence of international organizations on the dispute over Gibraltar between the United Kingdom and Spain. The following organizations were selected for the research: UN, NATO and EU. This thesis examines development in this dispute since the 1950s till the beginning of 21st century. About United Nations, the thesis examines negotiations in the Special Committee on Decolonization in the 1960s. About NATO, the thesis studies mostly a topic of the introduction of Spain into NATO and the admission of Spain to military structures of NATO. In the chapter about the European Union, the thesis principally explores the influences of the dispute on European legislation. The thesis does not avoid the aspect of the influence of international organizations on the internal development of Gibraltar. The thesis reached the outcome, that the international organizations influenced the dispute over Gibraltar by mediation and forcing to bilateral negotiations. The UN in its resolutions supported Spain's position, however, it couldn't force the United Kingdom to put the resolutions into practice. NATO and EU influenced the dispute principally indirectly. The EU considered about the dispute mostly in situations, when the dispute influenced the European legislation.
